Atlanta has lost three of four after a 4-0 start to Quinn’s initial season as a head coach. With Atlanta’s loss to the 49ers and bye this past week, the Panthers now have a three-game lead. Given the fact the Falcons and Packers already have six wins, it’s hard to imagine a nine-win team reaching the postseason, however.

With 14 penalties for 131 yards Sunday night, the Seattle Seahawks obliterated their chances of winning a pivotal game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Only seven games remain. Again Seattle couldn’t pick up the two-point conversion, but the play gave the Seahawks a 29-25 lead. So Seattle’s two-year run of division titles is nearly assuredly over.
