Things Nobody Wants To Admit About Daniel Craig’s Bond Movies
Even with the big explosion, it failed to blow away the $88.4 million brought in by the last Bond movie Skyfall in 2012.
He has cut an image of 23 films out of the 24 Bond back catalogue all playing at exactly the same time.
Imgur user TheThingsTheyCarried posted the 15-secnd-clip – featuring Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig – which is now doing the rounds on the internet.
“It is absolutely tremendous that the Guinness World Records have recognized Chris Corbould’s incredible work in Spectre in which he created the largest explosion ever in film history”, said Broccoli and fellow Spectre producer Michael G. Wilson in a statement accompanying the announcement of the new record.
Last weekend, Spectre took the top spot at the box office despite the film being considerably less acclaimed than its predecessor Skyfall. Bond goes rogue and sets off a firestorm that leads him to the secret world-wide criminal organization of the title.
I should clarify one point: on its own, Spectre was not a bad film.
While we may not see Daniel Craig starring in any musical Bollywood blockbuster any time soon, we do know that the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, has his eye on the role of James Bond, should Craig decide not to play the part anymore. “He’s a great actor”. Bond and Q’s relationship is similar to the most popular guy in school getting the guy who really wants to be popular to do what the popular guy wants him to do. Smith said he wanted to bring “a touch of vulnerability” to the franchise, and he certainly succeeded, bringing in his falsetto and the seemingly un-Bond-ish worries of “How do I live?” The film itself is ok, but it’s incredibly weak and disappointing compared to the other recent films. This is somehow a bold statement as before the film came out, Craig has been very expressive with his relief to finally be over with the franchise.
Bond gets his man but is left with more questions then answers.
The steadying force in the storm takes the form of Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux), who proves herself to be anything but a damsel in distress as she helps Bond pursue their common enemy – a sinister, global organisation helmed by Waltz as Oberhauser.
