Bryant, Correa named Rookies of the Year

The 23-year old received all 30 first place votes and he’s the sixth Cubs player to be named Rookie of the Year.

Bryant not only lead all National League rookies with 6.0 wins above replacement (WAR), but his 26 home runs were tied for the big league lead among rookies while also leading all rookies with 99 RBI.

He also led the NL in strikeouts with 199, but who’s counting?

Bryant batted. 292 with runners in scoring position and collected 17 game-winning RBIs.

Martin played in 92 games and hit just.

Correa is just the second player from the Astros to win the award.
