WWE Survivor Series 2015: Match Card, Predictions For Championship Tournament

Right now, there are no other WWE stars that seem fit to go head-on with Reigns other than Dean Ambrose.

King of the Ring Quarterfinals: United States Champion Alberto Del Rio w/Zeb Colter vs. Kalisto:Del Rio was always a step ahead despite Kalisto dazzling with wonderful high-flying offense and eventually got the win with the modified Double Stomp. Here are the semifinals that we will get at Survivor Series on Sunday.

To begin the tournament, Roman Reigns and Big Show squared off and in the end, Reigns overcame a massive beating from the world’s largest athlete to advance to the next round. As has been predicted since the beginning of the tournament, it appears as though the WWE is heading toward a finals meeting between Ambrose and Reigns.

The last tournament match includes Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens vs. Neville. The Wyatt Family then assembled at the top of the ramp, with Bray Wyatt saying Undertaker has had his time at the top and a “new army of darkness” should rise. Taker adds that the Wyatts are no match for what the Brothers of Destruction are capable of, and Bray should select the two opponents because they will never rest in peace. Thankfully, Breeze won the match after nailing Truth with the Beauty Shot.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament: Quarter-Finals: Dean Ambrose def. Dolph Ziggler by pin following Dirty Deeds to advance. However, it has to be seen if Breeze would distract Ziggler during the match.

Ambrose as champion would be interesting, not only because he’s good at what he does, but he brings an unpredictable element that could certainly shakeup the WWE. He added that Del Rio was about to earn the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Before his match with Cesaro, Roman Reigns hits the ring and talks about Triple H’s offer from last week. Cesaro has the respect on being technically gifted in the ring, while Reigns is simply the guy the WWE wants to showcase.

The first round concluded with a bit of an odd matchup between Alberto Del Rio and Stardust, both in the pairing of wrestlers and in the fact that while it was perfectly fine, it was oddly disconnected.
