Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will co-host ‘SNL’ in December
Thanks to a fantastic lineup of hosts to closeout the SNL season, that’s exactly what viewers will get. As if getting Fey and Poehler was not exciting enough, the legendary Bruce Springsteen is also serving as the musical guest. Gosling’s musical guest will by Leon Bridges, who recently released his hit album Coming Home. Hemsworth will next star in “In the Heart of the Sea”, which will be in theaters December 11.
Fey, 45, came up with the idea while musing about her “womance” with former “SNL” castmate Amy Poehler, who stars with her in the December 18 movie “Sisters”.
Ryan Gosling and Chris Hemsworth will also host December episodes.

The dynamic duo co-stars in their latest comedy Sisters, which hits theaters on December 18th, the day before their return to SNL. Springsteen’s December 4 release, the box set “The Ties That Bind: The River Collection“, contains a wealth of unreleased music and concert footage. The Christmas episode is usually a big deal for Saturday Night Live – turns out the holidays are a great time for celebrating and making jokes. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.
