Watch Miley Cyrus dance with Bill Murray for his holiday special
There’s something about Netflix’s latest trailer for its upcoming holiday special A Very Murray Christmas (written by Mitch Glazer, Bill Murray, and director Sofia Coppola) that is strangely reminiscent to the tone of Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig’s Lifetime movie, A Deadly Adoption.
A Very Murray Christmas will be available on December 4. The iconic comedy legend worries that no one will show up to his TV show due to a awful snow storm in NY City. Through luck and perseverance, guests arrive at the Carlyle hotel to help him; dancing and singing in holiday spirit.
“Tonight will go down as the greatest night in history”, replies Murray.
The cast includes Amy Poehler, Miley Cyrus, Chris Rock, Jason Schwartzman, Michael Cera, Paul Shaffer, Maya Rudolph, Rashida Jones and the band Phoenix (fronted by Coppola’s husband Thomas Mars). Clooney’s attendance reassures Cera who asks Murray if he saw Monuments Men – a joke that Clooney overshadows Murray in the film – to which Murray replies “I was in it”.
