Street Fighter V New Screenshots, Video Showcase Tutorial Mode
You’ll learn the ins and outs of Street Fighter 5’s new, overarching systems – as well as more obvious stuff like, er, blocking – by way of a fully-voiced, manga-augmented training story, as the two spar and develop aside the picturesque splashiness of the Forgotten Waterfall stage. While a fighting game having a tutorial mode isn’t new, Street Fighter V breaks out of the norm with a short story during Ken and Ryu’s early days studying Shotokan Karate.
Players walk through the basic movements and attacks of Street Fighter V in the tutorial, while playing as Ryu. Capcom has confirmed that all Street Fighter V gameplay DLC will be free for players who are willing to play enough.
According to GameSpot, the training mode has a storyline featuring Master Gouken. See a teaser of the introduction to the basics, along with a little of Ken and Ryu’s backstory, below. Ono added when Capcom announced a tournament for previous “Street Fighter” titles, gaming fans immediately asked which console version will they use and even what kind of joystick is required. R. Mika was shown slapping her rear when performing her double team manoeuvre with Nadeshko, while Cammy’s entrance into a fight had a zoom shot of her crotch area.
After the change, the butt slap move is now partially hidden in the game.
The art style in the backstory is different from the actual “Street Fighter 5” gameplay. It will feature both old and new fighters, with newly revealed names including newcomer Brazilian fighter Laura Matsuda and “Street Fighter II” veteran Dhalsim, who incorporates Yoga into his moves.
Street Fighter V hits digi-shelves on February 16th and there should be more beta action between now and then.
