Altaf Hussain humiliating Urdu Speaking community
Five cases against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain have been registered in different police stations of Karachi over his alleged anti-military speeches, Samaa reported. In its resolution, the party also wished for the British government to investigate the sources, and use of funding for the organisation.
Minutes later, MQM’s Muhammad Hussain, Khalid Ahmed and Amir Moin Pirzada filed a resolution condemning Imran Khan’s past statements against army generals.
PTI late on Wednesday dealt another blow to Altaf Hussain after lodging a complaint against him.
Two more FIRs 167/2015 and 168/2015 were registered at Section A police station in Dadu by complainants Mohammad Rajib and Shahid Alvi Haider under Section 153A of the PPC. Complainants Qari Abul Khaliq Soomro and Khadim Hussain registered the FIRs 41/2015 and 69/2015 at Saddar and Airport police stations in Jacobabad.
The FIR registered in Gaddap station also names Rauf Siddiqui and seventeen other people. Those booked in First Information Report (FIR) filed in Saidu Sharif station of Swat district also include Farooq Sattar and Wasay Jalil.
At least three FIRs are registered in Malakand while one each in Hangu, Kohat, Kirk and Abbottabad.
In a resolution submitted by the members of the PTI in the provincial assembly, the MQM Chief Altaf Hussain’s recent remarks regarding the Pakistan army and the officials of the Pakistan Rangers Sindh were strongly condemned.
On Monday, Pakistani interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said Mr Hussain in his speech on Sunday night had crossed all limits of civility, politeness and gentility and used worst language against security and defence institutions.
