‘Arrow’ Season 4 Casts DC Comics’ Mr. Terrific and Anarky
We’ll surely see more of Arrow Season 4 as production gears up in Vancouver, but does Echo Kellum make for a fantastic Mr. Terrific? Neither of the superheroes who took on the Mister Terrific moniker in the comics were gay, but as we say every time this happens, it really shouldn’t matter.
If Kellum is familiar, it’s likely because you remember him from either Ben and Kate or Sean Saves the World, his two biggest TV gigs to date. “A technological savant and inventor who works at Palmer Technologies under the supervision of Felicity Smoak”, he will be introduced in the second episode.
In the DC comics, Mister Terrific was originally the mantle of Terry Sloane, a self-made millionaire, Olympic-level athlete and martial artist.
Furthermore, Alexander Calvert will join Arrow season 4 as Anarky, reports Comic Book Resources. In the comics, the character tends to be a foil for Batman more often than not. He is teenager who believes in anarchism.
Prior to Kellum’s casting, Mr. Terrific’s addition to the series was announced at the Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment panel last week at Comic-Con. He’ll appear in a recurring role.
Starring Stephen Amell, David Ramsey and Emily Bett Rickards, “Arrow” season four is scheduled to debut Wednesday, October 7 at 8 pm EST on The CW.
