Who would have thought that Floyd Mayweather would be defending Ronda Rousey?

Rousey was taken to hospital after the sensational fight in Melbourne on Sunday. I really believe she has got to work on takedowns.

“I think people can be pretty brutal, and when she’s in the spot that she’s in that people are going to jump ship and I don’t ever wish for that”.

Rousey had stated before the fight that she meant to “disappear” following Saturday and a multitude of external factors had surfaced prior to this fight.

After winning the ESPY for “Best Fighter”, MMA champion Ronda Rousey called out boxer Floyd Mayweather. Floyd Mayweather actually stood up for Rousey in an interview with Fight Hype, offering what appears to be a genuine, heartfelt, and backhanded perspective on the fallout.

Who knows for sure but what we do recognize is that Rousey has earned the right to take a much-needed vacation while she prepares to film her next role alongside Mark Wahlberg in “Mile 22”. Mayweather said it made boxing “look bad” having Rousey on the cover of the magazine. I wasn’t going to lose.

Rousey was booked for the fight with Holm just 20 days after her 34-second knockout victory over Bethe Correia in Brazil. She’d dispatched most of her previous opponents in under one round, but Holly proved to be the ultimate fighter, knocking her out with an awesome head kick 59 seconds into their second round. “With a champion like Ronda – who has gone out of her way, above and beyond, to do great things – absolutely, she deserves a rematch”, Holm said. The Donald chimed in with a tweet reading “Glad to see that @RondaRousey lost her championship fight last night”.
