Robert Lewandowski’s agent discusses striker’s future amid Liverpool and Real
Marca says while the name of Álvaro Morata is being mentioned nearly every day, the other object of the club’s desire is none other than Lewandowski, according to the player’s own agent.
Real have previously shown interest in Lewandowski, approaching the Poland star during his Borussia Dortmund days – although he had already agreed to join Bayern Munich at the time.
However, his agent Barthel has refused to deny the rumours, saying: “It would be wrong to say there is no interest from the Premier League”.
Speaking to Marca, as per Goal, Cezary Cucharsky has admitted that Los Merengues are interested in the Bayern Munich frontman, who is reportedly learning Spanish, according to the Anglophone source.
The Poland global has been in sensation form for Bayern this season, scoring 14 goals in only 11 Bundesliga appearances with five of those coming in a nine-minute blitz against Wolfsburg.
Kucharsky told Polish paper Sportowe Fakty: “Since Robert signed the contract at Bayern [in January 2014] we have not talked about a transfer with representatives of Real Madrid”.
It is claimed the 10-time European Champions also made an enquiry for the 27-year-old in the summer, through representatives not employed by the club as to “avoid problems” with Bayern.
