Logitech Debuts new ‘Logi BLOK’ Protective Case, Shell and Keyboard Case for
After unveiling the new Logi brand, Logitech announced the first accessories that will bear the brand name.
Both the Logi Blok folio cases will come with an adjustable multi-angle stand that will help in keeping the iPad fixed for a comfortable viewing angle within a range of 50 degrees.
When you buy yourself a new iPad Air 2 or iPad mini one of the most important things is to keep the tablets safe, and so you have a range of options available to you. It’s a protective rear shell that’s sold alongside a screen protector to keep the iPad’s display safe from scratches.
It’s a bold claim which we look forward to trying out for ourselves, but it does sound very cool.
Small rubber structures form ridges around the iPad, and when the device falls to the concrete with the Logi Blok case that rubber expands to fill in the gaps. The BLOK Protective Keyboard Case is available in black and teal/blue and will retail for $129.99.
The third and final product, the BLOK Protective Keyboard Case for the iPad Air 2, includes numerous features of the BLOK Protective Case but adds a wireless, detachable keyboard that also serves as a screen cover.
It is available in the same colours and retails for $149.95, with all the models in store from early August.
The iPad is a powerful device. “But people have dropped and damaged – or are afraid that they will drop and damage – the iPad, so they typically don’t use it to its full potential”, said Michele Hermann, vice president of mobility at Logitech. And that’s basically true; the Logi Blok cases can take some serious bumps without adding the heft that we’ve seen from companies like Otterbox.
You might have heard that Logitech is rebranding itself with the hipper, more with it, Logi moniker.
Last but not least is the $130 Block Keyboard Case. Founded in 1981, Logitech worldwide is a Swiss public company listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange (LOGN) and on the Nasdaq Global Select Market (LOGI).
