World Anti-Doping Agency Declares Russian Agency Noncompliant
Those countries are Olympic hosts Brazil, Belgium, France, Greece, Mexico and Spain.

“We welcome this move by World Anti-Doping Agency which has accepted an initiative of the Olympic Summit in October to set up a working group to make anti-doping testing independent of sports organisations”, IOC President Thomas Bach said. It said that more could be done by several countries regarding lack of compliance, but noted the importance of “effective sanctions” to prevent others from non-compliance.
Beckie Scott, a Canadian cross-country Olympic champion and chair of the WADA athlete committee, told the board that many athletes have asked her why the commission was focused exclusively on Russia and Russian athletics. “We need to state clearly that Russia’s athletics team not go to Rio”.
