Adele: I Don’t Let Body Image Issues Rule My Life
It’s been a busy week for Adele, whose album is due to be released on 20 November. Adele was quite open and honest with her answers. However, that being said she said that she does not allow those problems to rule her life in any way.
Body image: Adele, left, onstage in London in January, 2008 and right, in Manhattan on Monday.
The difference is, she doesn’t let them get in the way of her life.
‘There’s only one of you, so why would you want to look like everyone else? “Why would you want to have the same hairstyle as everyone else and have the same opinions as everybody else?” she said.
The singer then talked about what it is that she chooses to listen to whenever she is feeling down. Turns out, it is not always the happiest playlist ever. She said this is something she has done for her entire life.
The Someone Like You hit-maker, who rose to worldwide fame singing about lost love and heartbreak, also revealed what she listens to when she’s feeling sad.
In 2013, the singer was reportedly offered a $19 million deal with beauty giant L’Oreal thanks to her ideal eyeliner and well groomed locks, and it was just one of many offers she received.
With her latest album “25” due out on Friday, Adele explained that with a little perspective, it’s easy to remember that her problems don’t compare to those faced by many others across the globe.
