Uh Oh SpaghettiOs! Campbell’s recalls 355000 cans due to potential choking hazard
Campbell Soup Company is recalling 14.2-oz cans of SpaghettiOs Original. Consumer’s had complained about finding red plastic in the cans they bought. Affected cans were distributed nationally. The plastic is made from parts of the can lining. It is not harmful if ingested. “If you do have effected cans that match the date code, and the store won’t let you return them, please private message us the store name and info where you purchased it and your mailing address”, the company added.
If you’re fond of eating SpaghettiOs or feeding it to your kids, be aware of a choking hazard that has led to the recall of 355,000 cans.
The cans have a date of February 22, 2017 stamped on them along with a UPC code of 5100 22432.
According to Montana DPHHS Food and consumer safety section control supervisor Ed Evanson, The famous canned spaghetti meal from Campbell’s soup may cause choking risks. Customers should return the product for a full refund.
