Ryan Fitzpatrick considering thumb surgery for Friday

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) – Gus Bradley preaches “consistent never-ending improvement” to his young Jacksonville Jaguars.

Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was 21-of-34 for 272 yards and two touchdowns – one apiece to wide receivers Eric Decker and Brandon Marshall – for the Jets, who improved to 5-3. But other elite runners, such as Dolphins running back Lamar Miller, have found no room at all, and the Patriots didn’t even try to establish a running game.

We had all types of guys making plays. Jacksonville Jaguars rank at 27 for 84.7 road rushing yards where as NY Jets rank at 7 for allowing 87.0 rushing yards at home.

Jacksonville is coming off a bye-week break following its victory over Buffalo in London in which it stormed out to a 24-point lead before falling behind in the fourth quarter.

Most people think this is an easy win for the Jets, but the Bills thought that when playing the Jags and it came back to bite them.

The veteran center was listed as probable for the game Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars after fully participating in practice Friday.

Not only did Fitzpatrick play against the Jaguars, but he had a very solid game showing no ill-effects of his injury.
