18 documents to be adopted at 27th Asean Summit
The East Asia Summit, on the other hand, is a grouping of Asean countries plus Australia, China, India, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, Russian Federation and the US.

Obama is arriving after a whirlwind schedule of summits in Turkey and the Philippines, and his presence here underscores the importance the USA places on Malaysia and the region.

Among those expected to join summits related to the Asean Summit here is Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.
The summit, which begins tomorrow, will be attended by leaders of all 10 Asean member countries. India is a founding member of the EAS and its Prime Ministers have participated in all nine summits held so far.
Malacañang has not discussed the issues that the President would raise during the summit in Kuala Lumpur.
