Arrow Season 4, Episode 7 Synopsis: Brotherhood
He mentions he’s glad Oliver is not a killer.
Not that the Lazarus miracle is working out so well for Thea, who’s still struggling with the bloodlust.
When Oliver refused to join the League of Assassins as Ra’s al Ghul’s protege, Ra’s took matters into his own hands.
However, it is also possible that Damien has figured out Captain Lance is a double agent and kills Laurel’s father at the event in order to send Oliver a chilling message to stay out of his way.
Team Arrow prepares to infiltrate Wolfman where a number of ghosts are present too.
Team Arrow arrives at the base. Once the team has retrieved Andy and locked him up, Diggle finally gets his face-to-face. Back on the island, Conklin and Oliver act like little kids in front of Reiter who pulls out a diving rod to reveal who is telling the truth. I must admire Stephen Amell’s clever acting. He looks at Damien in the audience as he says, “I promise you, all of you, that I will never stop fighting to save this city”. This sees like a natural progression for his character leading into “Legends of Tomorrow”. It was always the right call having him here. At the Gala, Oliver delivers his speech to the crowd in support of the SCPD and it seems to go over well.
The conflict between Oliver and Damien Darhk was strong this episode, as was Oliver’s campaign game. While Damien is distracted, Thea escapes. Dig sits down Oliver and gives him a folder.
Felicity chastises Oliver for what is probably the worst idea he’s ever had, working with Darhk, but to Ollie he’s just using him. Lance’s link to Darhk is growing thin and they need a route inside to HIVE. So we’ve done a really good job of creating something, and I think it doesn’t feel like The Flash, doesn’t feel like Arrow; it feels like both.
Is anyone who’s seen 12 Years a Slave – or is old enough to remember Roots – bothered by the scene where Oliver is whipping Conklin while surrounded by slave overseers?
Willa Holland as Thea Queen a.k.a. Speedy on ‘Arrow.’ [Image via The CW]According to the synopsis for episode 7, which was released by TV Guide, Thea will be dealing again with her bloodlust, only this time she is set to lose control while hanging out with Alex (Parker Young).
Other than that, Thea should totally have a charge of attempted murder in the first or at the very least battery with a deadly weapon (soda coolers are deadly okay) but apparently not?
Brotherhood could also mean there will be more development about Ray Palmer’s (Brandon Routh) return. It’s simply something he can’t do. Oliver interrupts them and tells Thea that something’s come up and they have to go. Darhk has a bunch of people on said docks and he offers them the HIVE way or the highway. Oliver tries to get Diggle to be more open to the possibility of explanations.
“Arrow” fans can look forward to another exciting episode on Wednesday as John Diggle (David Ramsey) will discover that his brother is alive and under the control of Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough).
Felicity to Oliver: “This has to be a better way than how you usually spend your evenings”.
Felicity does not understand why Ray won’t “come back to life”. No matter what Andrew’s motives may be, trying to decide whether to disown him or not before getting a chance to talk to the guy is pretty dumb. Team Arrow prepares to go to the center and when confronted by Diggle, they tell him straight up they’re going to save Andy.
Team ARROW breaks into the company that holds the chemical patent. Dig de-masks one of the GHOSTS and finds that it is Andy, his brother. Diggle’s disappointment is heightened by a subsequent confession to Lyla that he used to daydream about a Lazarus miracle, which would allow him to bring his brother back the way it did Thea.
Thea has a few kind of resistance to Darhk’s magic. Andy is a little insane and that might just be the waning Ghost influence or Andy could be a sociopath. Andy wants the “green one” dead. The pair work on identifying the D.N.A. marker on the tooth they took from one of Darhk’s men.
Throw in John Barrowman for good measure, with a few trademark Malcolm Merlyn manipulation on the sly (things have finally gotten interesting with Thea!), and we end up with a solid episode of Arrow.
Well, Barry actually encounters this situation where he wants to go to Oliver and Team Arrow for help, and that’s our tipping point.
