Floyd Mayweather defends Ronda Rousey against social media trolls

Rousey’s war of words with Mayweather first escalated in July, when she said after winning the ESPY for Best Fighter, for which Mayweather was also a nominee: “I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once”.

Rousey’s trainer Mick Dolce, who was part of her camp in the Etihad Stadium encounter, backed his charge to return to her former status as world champion.

Barbs have been traded back-and-forth between the two, with Mayweather most recently voicing his displeasure over Rousey being on the cover of boxing’s RING magazine.

“I don’t know, I’m trying to take it all in”. Holm, a former boxing champion, made Rousey play her strategy, and it was as effective as her calculated moves in the Octagon.

“I think it would be a very bad mistake to give Ronda Rousey an immediate rematch with Holly Holm”, said Florian.

After her defeat, Rousey thanked her fans on Instagram.

“I’ve been on a losing side of a fight and I wanted to avenge my loss”. I knew Holly had what it takes to win, but I had no idea if she would be mentally prepared to do that.

“It was just precautionary and that is what we love about the UFC, the UFC does a great job taking care of the athletes”, Dolce said.

“But that doesn’t mean that I wish any harm on her, that doesn’t mean I wish any hate on her”, she added.

“I think she can watch the tape and see what she needs to work on”, Ali told the photographer.
