Probe me if you can, Rahul dares Modi

Reacting to Rahul’s challenge to the government to jail him, Swamy took a dig at him saying “whether he is right or not…police will take him”. All kinds of allegations are levelled against me. “Modiji, you have got agencies”.

Get a probe done against me and send me behind bars if you find something.

Earlier on Monday, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy alleged that Rahul Gandhi had declared himself a British citizen in the registration papers of a private company in London.

After that if she felt that a prima case existed, she may refer the matter to the Ethics Committee of Lok Sabha to decide whether he can continue as MP, Swamy said adding that he should be disqualified because he was “guilty of gross violation” of ethics.

Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi should break their silence and say if Ahmad’s statement is the line of Congress too, he said. “Indira ji’s values acquire even greater importance”, she said.

Pointing out to senior leaders Motilal Vora, Ghulam Nabi Azad, C P Joshi, Ashok Gehlot, Sachin Pilot who were seated on the dais, Rahul urged the Youth Congress workers to benefit from their knowledge and wisdom. “The Congress connects people”, he said.

Mr.Narayanasamy alleged the Modi Government has been attempting to hide the achievements of Indira Gandhi. Swamy, who has been a persistent Gandhi family baiter, has demanded from prime minister Modi and the Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan that on the basis of these documents Rahul should stripped of his Indian citizenship and barred from the Lok Sabha.

The Congress Vice-President said he would not succumb to the BJP’s tactics. He said he had seen the RSS and BJP throwing allegations against his family -“my grandmother, my father, my mother”.

She said Indira Gandhi was dedicated to ensuring national unity while being fiercely proud and protective of its many diversities and was an “an inspiration to all of us”. We will not allow them to succeed.

“From the day he was born, Rahul Gandhi has held the Indian citizenship and the Indian passport and has never held citizenship of any other country nor has he represented as such. The sole goal appears to be to divert attention from inner revolt and paralysis of policy and governance being questioned all around including the leadership of Modi”, he said.

Sonia Gandhi also referred to the string of defeats faced by her party and its recent success in Bihar assembly elections.
