Second suspect arrested in fatal 2014 Richmond Hill shooting
A second person has been arrested and charged in connection with a double murder from past year.
“Kevin Khang Pham was arrested in Vancouver on a Canada-wide warrant on November 18”, Const. Laura Nicolle said Friday.
Both men are facing charges of first-degree murder and attempted murder. Emergency crews found three people inside a vehicle that had been shot at several times.
Brenda Pathammavong, 16, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Premier Hoang, 18, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital where he later died.
The latest suspect in the deadly triple shooting – which occurred near Major Mackenzie Dr. and Yonge St. on January 8, 2014 – was nabbed in B.C., York Regional Police said.
Timonthy Doug-Hyun, 24, of Mississauga, has also been charged in connection with the case.
Investigators believed the shooting was targeted and had been seeking two suspects related to the shooting.
