George Lucas on Star Wars: “all you do is get criticised”

More new footage from Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens has gone public in what might be the first of several character-centric TV spots.

Because soon we’ll be able to thread together all these teasers and make our own damned Star Wars film. The time is set in different time periods within the “Star Wars” universe.

“The issue was ultimately, they looked at the stories and they said, ‘We want to make something for the fans, ‘” Lucas said. “I’ll go my way and I let them go their way”, he added, as told to CBS News.

Of course, he’s “good at keeping secrets”, as he learned about Darth Vader a year before anyone else.

“Star Wars Battlefront” is a first and third person shooter game where players take the role of soldiers, heroes or villains in either of two opposing armies.

Harrison Ford helped make an announcement from the Star Wars: Force for Change initiative, by surprising fans who had previously donated to the initiative with a new, exciting offer. When the original trilogy was issued on DVD several years ago, he tweaked the special effects. People think it’s a space opera. According to Hamill himself, it’s on par with The Empire Strikes Back’s iconic “Luke, I am you father” moment; a secret so huge that he’s being paid a (presumably large) sum of money just to keep it. The winners will get four tickets to the event, get to walk the red carpet, see the film, attend the after party, and meet the cast of The Force Awakens.

The next film to hit the big screen will be J. J. Abrams’ The Force Awakens on the 17th December 2015, while 2016 will see a stand-alone film written by John Knoll.
