Gwen Stefani didn’t know who Blake Shelton was
And we all have The Voice to thank for it. On The Ellen DeGeneres Show today, Stefani reveals that she had “never heard of” Shelton until they were on The Voice together.
There are speculations that producers may want to keep Gwen in “The Voice” because her and Blake Shelton’s romance has just made the reality talent search more interesting and that the romance could bring in more ratings. I feel like I go back and listen to a lot of that stuff and I’m, like, I get sick. “Miranda’s sure the truth will come out eventually, it always does”, the source added.Shelton seems to be enjoying his new life.
Following Miz Stefani’s giddy appearance on Ellen, sounds like it’s smooth sailing for The Voice costars!
That’s when the conversation turns to the country crooner. “That’s all I’m saying”, DeGeneres said. “I’m having a lot of fun”, Stefani told DeGeneres. “What would I know, you know?”
Stefani, 46, was tickled by the photo, joking, “Ride ’em cowboy!” But the real shock (for everyone else) comes when Gwen admits that she had no idea who Blake was before she started The Voice. I didn’t. I hadn’t. I’m an O.C. (Orange County, California) girl! “I don’t know, I mean”.
In the interview with DeGeneres, Stefani was open about the subject matter of the song, which directly correlated with her divorce from Rossdale. Like he knows everything about music.
The talk show host went on thoroughly embarrass Stefani when she asked if he’s a good kisser, but the singer only laughed – apparently refusing to kiss and tell.
Stefani filed for divorce from husband Gavin Rossdale, 50, with whom she shares three sons, this past August.
She explains that her music has brought her comfort. “That’s my whole thing”, she says.
