Your Guide to Black Friday Shopping on Amazon

The highly anticipated Amazon Black Friday 2015 Sale is live since midnight.

It has built 173 facilities worldwide, created 100,000 temporary jobs and offered interesting non-Black Friday sales. After all that’s what Black Friday is really all about.

41% of all United Kingdom shoppers say they are planning to get involved in the event this year, with women slightly more likely to do so than men (43% compared with 38%).

Most shoppers will be checking out the deals on Black Friday (73.5% compared, with 68.2% from NRF’s preliminary survey in 2014). You can figure out what store has good deals and what places you can skip. “Consumers aren’t going to be there every day for eight days”. From its findings, Ibotta determined that Black Friday is “losing steam” this year due to the rise of other shopping events like Cyber Monday, Small Business Saturday, Free Shipping Day, and Super Saturday. Overall, about 17 percent of items will be more expensive on Black Friday than they are now listed for on Amazon, the study found. Amazon didn’t immediately return a request for comment. Thanksgiving is America’s oldest holiday – older than the country itself, even. And while oft-repeated storybook origins of the holiday most definitely didn’t happen in the everybody-kumbaya way we like to tell it, the holiday is one that celebrates togetherness and gratitude in a truly explicit way. Early highlights of the in-app exclusive deals include a Hisense 55-inch 4K Smart LED TV for $448 ($331.99 off) and a 50-inch, brand unknown, 1080p LED TV for $149.99. The traditional products, such as clothing, computers, x-box, toys and sporting goods will represent a bulk of this years buys the experts are predicting, but many deem a surge in luxury goods, as well as technology products and home products such as cookware, dish sets and home furnishings.

Costco doesn’t have a ton of deals, but they have a couple for Android folks. These deals will also be incredible hard to get.

There is though still a build up of the deals towards Thanksgiving Day.

There is just 7 days to go until the start of the Black Friday Sales, as the big stores will open their doors on Thanksgiving Day, November 26. Retailers wanted to get customers flowing to their stores early for the holiday sales and shoppers didn’t want to miss out on the deals and responded as expected.

The state should break $10 million in taxed sales in November and December for the second consecutive year, according to the Alabama Retail Association. According to Steve Shure, vice president of consumer marketing in Amazon, customers will be able to sit back and enjoy time with their friends and family during the holiday season, knowing that a notification will be sent to them as soon as an item they are watching is about to go on sale. While numerous deals can be found online, there’s just something about leafing through the advertising supplements while watching the Thanksgiving Day parade.
