Texas unemployment rate up in October to 4.4 percent

Unemployment in the Orlando metro area hit a new seven-year low of 4.6 percent in October, according to unadjusted data the state released on Friday.

“Missoula County has been growing pretty well in the past year”.
Mining and logging, the sector that includes oil- and gas-related jobs, shed 2,000 workers over the month. It also follows four months of reports where the jobless rate rose.

Nacogdoches County saw a slight increase in its jobless rate, going from 4.7 percent in September to 4.8 percent in October.
Between September and October, Colorado added 13,000 nonfarm jobs.
The biggest decrease last month was in leisure and hospitality, which lost 2,100 jobs, 800 of them in arts, entertainment and recreation and 1,300 in accommodation and food services.
