Look for Pack to bounce back in Minnesota
While being slowed by a very good Denver defense, and losing to an undefeated Panthers team weren’t shocking, the team’s 18-16 loss to the Lions was eye opening and concerning for Packers fans and for the seemingly million analysts (raising hand) who picked them to go to the Super Bowl. He figures it sums up the rivalry between the Vikings and the Packers. If the Lions can win in the state of Wisconsin for the first time in nearly a quarter of a century, the Vikings can certainly get their first win in six tries against the Packers on Sunday.
“We’ve still got a lot of games to play, so we’re not getting down on this”, safety Nate Allen said.
GREEN, GOLD, GROUNDED: The Packers pulled out a 24-21 victory at Minnesota last season, behind 125 yards rushing by Eddie Lacy, who had two touchdowns that afternoon. Thanks to five straight wins by the Vikings and three losses in a row by the Packers, Minnesota sits in the driver’s seat in the NFC North.
Coach Mike McCarthy described Rodgers as “banged up” on Wednesday, a term Rodgers said was accurate.
With the way the Packers have played and the questions surrounding Rodgers’ health, it’s hard to see them pulling the upset on Sunday. Still, Peterson says he has never seen the rivalry as intense as it was in 2009, when the Vikings won their last division title with a 12-4 record, one game ahead of Green Bay, and advanced to the NFC championship game. This week, everyone will be talking about how the Packers have fallen and how they will have problems against the Vikings.

They didn’t win one game anywhere this season until mid-October.
Minnesota has no issues with its running game even with personnel limitations on the offensive line. The Broncos boast a dominant defense, and Peyton Manning played what now qualifies as his “A” game in that prime-time spot.
Aaron Rodgers popped up on the injury report Wednesday with a few sort of shoulder ailment, but apparently it is not a new injury.
The Bengals were bound to lose a game eventually but that they did it to playoff nemesis Houston in prime-time, possibly looking forward to the Cardinals a week down the road brought the boo birds out in Cincinnati Monday night.
“We were at the 50-yard line for the coin toss at Lambeau because we had both been made captains”, Longwell said.
Can Green Bay stop the Vikings rushing attack? The wide receiver has been out for a month with the injury, but did return to practice.
“For us, we know what type of quarterback and respect we have going in for the game with the things he’s able to do”, Edwards said. Though their defense has been less than stellar (30th in yards allowed per game, 27th in points), the Raiders still have a chance at the playoffs. Blaine Gabbert quarterbacks a bad 49ers team. “But I think Teddy’s got an extremely bright future, he’s a heck of a quarterback and I’m glad he’s mine”.
