Joseph Gordon-Levitt Smashes Janet Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation”

Spoiler alert: this is quite possibly the BEST lip sync battle in the history of Lip Sync Battle.

English television host James Corden was surprised by Joseph Gordon-Levitt with a kiss while the “500 Days of Summer” actor imitated pop icon Janet Jackson during “Lip Sync Battle”. Mackie was a bit subdued on the stage but he was every bit aggressive, playing around with his song. “That was a sexually charged performance”. Not that this intimidated Gordon-Levitt. It may have been a couple of years since he had a lip sync battle on TV but clearly he has not lost his touch. The actor really heated the dance floor but JGL stole the show and the audience with his incredible dance moves and perfectly-synchronized choreography.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt took his appreciation for women to a whole new level on Lip Synch Battle last night, transforming himself into a male Janet Jackson and absolutely slaying a fully choreographed performance of Rhythm Nation. A British version of the show is in the works at the United Kingdom network Channel 5.
