Google Search Now Lets You Stream Content From Apps
What happens to the thicket of apps that barely get any play time? What the screenshots show is that the app will tie in to a user’s Apple ID, and all of the Apple devices that are linked to that ID.
Microsoft Corporation revamped the search application, Bing for iOS in a bid to capture users’ imagination, reported MacRumors on Wednesday.
Google has taken note. Earlier this year, European researchers also found “overly aggressive” communication with tracking Web sites among a few popular Android apps in the Google Play Store. The new Google+ app brings a whole new interface and looks much more like the Android version than pervious iterations.
Once you start using a photo storage app (or two, if you’re paranoid!), you’ll have to keep in mind to start deleting the local copies of photos on your phone. The company is streaming a video to your phone from the Internet while the app runs in a computer many miles away.
Google can’t just stream any app it wants: The app’s publisher has to agree and work with Google to make it happen.
