‘Spectre’ Sets Guinness World Record for Largest Movie Stunt Explosion Ever
In addition to kisses, kills and cocktails, James Bond films are filled with another trademark feature: explosions.
User Luke Lindemeyer has edited together nearly all of the Bond opening scenes (minus Spectre given the video isn’t available yet) and it’s pretty spectacular.
A few of the more recent Bond films have had more connecting threads than previous movies in the series.
Actor Daniel Craig, who reprised his role as the iconic super spy James Bond in “Spectre”, is in love with the merriment, music and thrill of Bollywood. Now that would be incredible.
Daniel Craig poses at the photo call for the 24th Bond film “Spectre” at ski resort on January 7, 2015 in Soelden, Austria.
It’s a different approach, but is that enough to make it one of the best Bond themes in history? However, when asked if Craig is still legally bound to do another movie as James Bond, he confirmed “We don’t have a contract”.
Bond movies have always been about Bond versus the baddie and that is certainly true here to an extent. There’s a really good long shot at the beginning of the film and looks like it was all done with practical effects for the most part. The stunt in question takes place towards the end of the movie, when Daniel Craig’s James Bond and actress Lea Seydoux’s character, Madeleine Swann, escape villain Christoph Waltz’s enormous desert facility. This is somehow a bold statement as before the film came out, Craig has been very expressive with his relief to finally be over with the franchise. And it’s given the award for most expensive movie poster to one of only four that exist for the 1927 Fritz Lang film “Metropolis”. One scene where Bond is supposed to go through something crippling he gets right back up and causes an explosion like nothing ever happened. Problems that the collective fanbase have either failed to acknowledge or appear to be purposely overlooking; aspects that mean this era isn’t quite as wonderful as everyone seems to think; stuff that nobody wants to say out loud…
The Bollywood Hindi film industry is the biggest in the world, rivaling even the blockbusters of Hollywood.
