Feds Won’t Release Video From Jamar Clark’s Shooting By Police
They continued to chant as officers stood guard outside the building.
The shooting has led to protests in the mid-western city, with police and demonstrators using irritant spray against each other on Wednesday night.

Reports indicate Clark was shot in the head.
Another witness, Joseph Gipson, told KSTP that police “killed him [Clark] with his hands behind his back”.
A steady stream of cars arrived throughout the day with more firewood and food as a few protesters cleaned up garbage strewn about on the muddy ground and city crews scrubbed profane graffiti off the station’s brick walls. “At a few point during the struggle, an officer discharged his weapon, striking the suspect”, the Minneapolis Police Department said.
Mark Ringennberg and Dustin Schwarze were involved in shooting Clark.
Authorities have said it wouldn’t be appropriate to release video from sources including an ambulance, a mobile police camera, public housing cameras and citizens’ cellphones because doing so could taint an investigation by the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
The police station had been spray-painted with Jamar Clark’s name and anti-police profanity.
Clark’s cousin Kenya McKnight said the family wants people to remember that Clark was loved and cared for and “he was really on this path of getting his life together”. McKnight, speaking for the family, said that’s not something they’re concerned with.
They say release of any information, including any video, would be “extremely detrimental” to the independent investigation that the Justice Department and FBI are conducting into whether Clark’s death violated any federal laws. Protesters shut down a highway Monday evening, and dozens were arrested. The man’s federal civil rights lawsuit was settled.

Harteau said after the meeting that “misinformation” is being spread about the case, but she would not elaborate.
The protest began last weekend.
Authorities have also said none of the videos shows the shooting in its entirety. The incident happened just before 1 a.m. Sunday at the corner of Plymouth Avenue North and Morgan Avenue North. Police say they were called to the scene because Clark was interfering with medical personnel responding to a domestic assault call.
