Obama says USA governors’ refusal of refugees ‘hysterical’
Texas was one of the first states to deny access to Syrian refugees, but as of Tuesday, 30 other states also made the move – most are led by republican governors.
Americans are split on the idea of sending USA troops to Iraq or Syria to combat the Islamic State (IS, also known as ISIL or ISIS), with 44 percent believing we should send ground forces and 45 percent disagreeing.
