Lawyers will solve Mohamed Salah fiasco – Fiorentina chairman Della Valle
Fiorentina are still fuming that Salah has refused to return to the club. There were some more twists and turns along the way involving a spat with Inter Milan over alleged tampering and a freakish Twitter beef between the two clubs. The aforementioned source report Salah is now refusing to return to the Serie A side, despite the club having apparently already paid Chelsea a £700,000 loan fee.
Salah, who has reported to Chelsea’s pre-season campaign, is not expected to take part in the squad travelling to Montreal on Wednesday as he does not fall into the plans of Jose Mourinho for next season; therefore, he is now training with the U-21 team at Cobham training centre, with the Blues waiting for the team that will satisfy their demands.
“We are talking to the lad, because he could well want a new opportunity as well”. “Chelsea have many interesting players and this could be the route we go down”.
And finally, supposed Liverpool target Mario Gomez is closing in on a move elsewhere.
But Chelsea are going to repay the sum and will send another player on loan there instead.
However, according to Football Italia and Sky Sport Italia, Chelsea have reportedly insisted that Destro moves the other way in this deal, landing with the London giants, who, in an effort to avoid legal action from Florence, may or may not loan Mr. Right to Fiorentina, thereby granting Destro’s wish to remain in Italy. A measly £700k and a wantaway player in Mohamed Salah is not worth ruining that potential relationship over and it does not look like Chelsea FC or Fiorentina are willing to let that happen.
