Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Delayed To August 2016
“We’re confident and proud of the game so far”, Anfossi wrote. “Mankind Divided” was initially announced that it was going to be released on February 23, 2016.
Accordingly, the developers also stated in a Twitter post that the game is a huge project, and with such they do not compromise on quality, Gamespot reports. “I know that expectations are extremely high, and we not only want to meet those expectations, but exceed them”. The game once again places players in the role of Adam Jensen, the cybernetically-enhanced supercop protagonist from Human Revolution, who must simultaneously deal with intensifying public prejudice against cybernetics, a terrorist group who demands equality for cybernetic individuals, and the shadowy conspiracies that take place within his own organization.
Eidos Montreal says it is “determined to deliver the best game [it] can”, though this has certainly raised a few concerns. It’s always interesting to hear comments from Art Directors on the choices they make on the game, and what their thoughts are on their previous games. However, the site said that nothing is worse than releasing a “botched” game only to clean it up after being released in the markets.
Eager fans of the upcoming “Deus Ex: Mankind Divided” video game will have to wait a little longer.
The latest instalment of the sci-fi videogame franchise was first revealed at E3 2015 and is expected out on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Square Enix and Eidos Montreal’s Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is rescheduled for release on August 23, 2016.
