Jennifer Lawrence opens up about wrapping on The Hunger Games: Mockingjay 2
I dont know. Francis Lawrences primary concern seems to be his aversion to retreading familiar territory which makes sense.
The plot remained about as close to the books as fans of the Suzanne Collins novels would hope. That statement isn’t entirely true in regards to Mockingjay – Part 2, as it is a better and much more entertaining movie than Mockingjay – Part 1, although that isn’t saying a lot.
“Mockingjay – Part 2” may not reach the heights of the franchise’s top grossing film, “Catching Fire”, which made $424.6 million in the U.S.in 2013, but it should stand for fans as a celebration of a series that itself caught fire. Katniss Everdeen along with her gang will entertain you this month. Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), her ex-boyfriend-turned-propaganda-tool for the government, now suffers from PTSD but has re-joined the efforts to bring down the evil President Snow (Donald Sutherland). In fact, for most of the world-shaping events of Panem, she wasn’t even born yet. But according to MTV News, Jennifer Lawrence’s most emotional scene in the final Hunger Games movie wasn’t with a person – it was with a cat. It is a game of cat and mouse as Snow has set up pods all throughout the Capital as he is treating this war just like the Hunger Games.
“The greatest part of this journey in these movies is watching her grow and develop into this warrior that she becomes”, Lawrence said of playing Katniss.
Filming the last Hunger Games movie moment occurred twice for Jennifer Lawrence.
I have to admit I lost track of what was happening to the various characters in a few of the scenes in this second part of the finale.
Lawrence also told a story about how Chris busted in on one of his friends while he was in the shower and treated him to a surprise haircut before she added that they were “intense”.
Along with Jennifer Lawrence, the star cast boasts of impressive names like Liam Hemsworth, Julianne Moore, Elizabeth Banks, Natalie Dormer, Stef Dawson, Jeffrey Wright and Evan Ross.
“And I think it all goes to his head a little bit and he loses sight of his own values”. I actually do not recall that there were oil tsunamis or mutant monsters underground in the books, but these were the most shocking and thrilling parts of this film.
