Indianapolis Colts vs. Atlanta Falcons
The Indianapolis Colts are coming off their most impressive win of the 2015 National Football League season when they return from the bye week, after facing off the Denver Broncos in their first loss of the season at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Colts square off with the Falcons at noon CST in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
The strength of both teams is clearly on the offensive side of the ball, while both defenses have been called upon to do just enough to get the win. They now find themselves 3 games behind the undefeated Carolina Panthers in the NFC South after losing 3 of their last 4.
Atlanta’s offense has skidded over the past four games, failing to score more than 21 points after averaging 32.2 in the first five games. Falcons 14, Colts 0 with 8:54 to go in the second quarter. Hasselbeck guided the Colts to wins over Jacksonville and Houston while Luck was out with a shoulder injury.
Matt Hasselbeck will step in Luck’s absence. You have to think that the Colts are finally starting to give up on their 2013 first round draft pick who has been a total bust. Hasselbeck was almost flawless in his two previous starts this season, committing zero turnovers in 144 snaps. Run the ball with authority. 3. The event comes at a time when the Federal Bureau of Investigation reportedly is taking considerably an ISIS threat against the Philips Arena in Atlanta, where a WWE event can be held on Sunday. Colts also have the good fortune of playing in the bad AFC South, where no team has a winning record and seven wins could get you a home playoff game in January. Since beginning the season as a red hot wager, the Falcons have done a 180 and turned into a team that is costing bettors week in, week out. However, aside from two games, Johnson’s play has been relatively uninspiring. Fantasy Tip: After struggling on offense past month, Falcons might look to get WR Roddy White more involved. All are reasonable options to combat Atlanta’s inefficiencies of late there.
