Jamelia and her partner Tristan MacManus scored a respectable 31 after they danced the Quickstep to The Monkees’ I’m a believer.
Jamelia said she was sad to leave but was at least pleased to have made it as far as the coveted annual Blackpool Tower ballroom extravaganza.
Craig Revel Horwood praised the “drama, character-driven, Spanish line, total theatre, right up my strasse [street], magnificent”, whilst Darcey Bussell added: “It blew me away, forceful intent but beautifully classy”. “I just feel like I get the opportunity to show the judges immediately I’ve listened to what they said and here’s me applying it”.
