Winter storm to hit the Stateline this weekend
Four to six inches are possible in the Sierra Nevada range.
The National Weather Service says it also will be mostly sunny Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thanksgiving Day and Friday.
Once the snow stops, we are in for our coldest weekend of the season so far.
Black Friday: Showers likely, mainly after 10 a.m. High temperature of about 59 degrees, low temperature of about 41 degrees.
Roads will become snow covered and hazardous as ground and air temperatures drop below freezing.
Sunday will be even colder, though rain is not expected, the service said. This will result in a rain/snow mix early, then accumulations and heavier snow start when precipitation switches over to all snow after midnight.
Northeast winds will be 15-25 miles per hour, with gusts up to 35 miles per hour switching to northwest near daybreak Saturday.
Thanksgiving Eve will offer cooler, more seasonable temperatures with a daytime high of 57 degrees and a nighttime low of 43 degrees.
Tonight will be mostly clear with a low around 27 degrees. However, snow will accumulate quickly overnight through Saturday morning, according to the warning. The potential exists for hard driving conditions and reduced visibility.
Little Rock is expected to see a low of about 29 degrees Saturday night and 30 degrees Sunday night.
