Jets’ Richardson (Hamstring) Questionable; Fitzpatrick Fine

The NY Jets had two chances to tie Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans.

Houston Texans coach Bill O’Brien officially ruled out quarterback Brian Hoyer on Friday and named T.J. Yates as the starter for Sunday’s game against the NY Jets. The climax of the game came when Rashad Greene returned a 63 yard punt to set the stage for Blake Bortles 5 yard touchdown pass to Julius Thomas with just 3:30 remaining on the clock.

The Jets offense finally clicked early in the third quarter.

NY was also banged up… again. Houston CB A.J. Bouye didn’t return after leaving in the second quarter to be evaluated for a concussion.
