Adele praises her family
But the truth is, even if she were never to sing another a song in her life, Adele would still have well and truly made her mark as one of the greatest performers of this generation. Apparently, it’s about her longtime partner, Simon Konecki, whom she has a son with. “I hope you enjoy the record as much as I enjoyed making it for you”. “This is the relationship now that I’m gonna be in”.
Further confirmation? The fact that he’s a big fan of Adele’s latest album, 25-even though he “doesn’t care” about her genre of piano-driven power ballads.
In a recent radio interview with SiriusXM, the British singer revealed that her son Angelo isn’t 100% on board with his momma’s superstar lifestyle.
USA Today noted that the song featuring her 3-year-old son’s voice is titled “Sweetest Devotion”. “Being in such a fantastic relationship with somebody in that is so there for me & so dedicated & is really part of my core now, in that is what made me write about the whole lot I have ever done, “cause I have got his love, ‘ she exposed”. “Right now he can choose if he wants a bag of [chips] or a banana, but he can’t make a choice about being in the public eye”.
The Hello singer explained: “I knew I was going back to work at a few point so didn’t want there to be any confusion between us”. Already, 25 has sold more than 900,000 copies on iTunes.
If “19” and “21” were break-up records, this is (in her words) Adele’s “make-up” album. During the first 24 hours “Hello” was released, the song was viewed more than 27.7 million times on Vevo.
Adele’s “Hello” also became the video to hit 100 million views on the service the fastest in just five days.
