Lenovo to launch Vibe S1 in India today, offers dual front camera
The Lenovo Vibe S1 was earlier unveiled at IFA 2015 with a price tag of $299.
As part of this approach to woo the customers, the company recently launched the Vibe Shot, which offers best possible mobile phone photography features.
The Lenovo Vibe S1 has a unibody glass body with metal rim on the sides.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The new device has a 5-inch screen with 1080p resolution. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box with Lenovo’s Custom UI running atop.
The VIBE S1 also houses 13MP rear camera which boasts of phase-detection autofocus, dual-color flash which optimizes color tones based on ambient lighting. It finally weighs 131 gms and is 7.8mm in thickness.
It has a 32 GB capacity internal storage and supports a microSD card which can be expandable up to 128 GB.
The Lenovo VIBE S1 features an 8 megapixel F2.2 camera with BSI sensor and a 2 megapixel camera to analyze depth of field. A 2500 mAh battery completes the package. On 3G, one can expect up to 12 hours of talk time. It comes in Pearl White and Midnight Blue colors.
The company has been releasing several smartphones off late, and the latest in line of the Lenovo phones have been the Lenovo Vibe X3, Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m and Several other devices, even in the markets of the PC and tablet devices.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. Hence expect Lenovo to price it around Rs 20,000 in India.
