QB Aaron Rodgers disappointed with National Football League fan’s anti-Muslim slur during Lions
You’d expect for whatever is ailing Rodgers and the anemic Packers offense to sort itself out in the days leading up to the game. “We wanted to control (Rodgers) so we brought pressure and we were in their faces”.
Particularly interesting, at least to us, was when Obama – who’s a noted Chicago Bears fan – compared himself to Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
JAMES- Like I said, it starts with the wideouts because I feel like we’re the ones who sparks this team.
“Well, I’m a little sore right now but I’ll be good to go in a couple of days”, Rodgers said.
The good news is that in today’s National Football League you don’t have to be great in the regular season, just good enough to make the crapshoot that is the National Football League playoffs. However, on the last play, it was the Packers who had more to do with that than Detroit. The others were not there to answer questions.
“We will look at the film and make a few corrections tomorrow…”
“I told you guys earlier in the week, streaks and records are made to be broken”, safety Glover Quin said after the game.
Rodgers is no stranger to offering his political opinions; after voters reelected Barack Obama in 2012, Rodgers tweeted: “Obama for four more years, I don’t hate it!”
“I know our players are disappointed at a tough home loss”. Instead their problems in both the running game and the passing game continued.
Rodgers was adamant that he is not injured, and finally, very late in his press conference, the quarterback finally addressed his errant throws, which stand out because of his historic precision.
3 and out. Out of first place in the NFC North with 3 straight losses. They’re a game behind the Vikings and the Arizona Cardinals, and now find themselves three behind the 9-0 Carolina Panthers. This Sunday’s game in Minnesota will either put the Packers back in control of their own destiny, or leave them two games off the pace with six to play.
