In the opening 132 seconds, Curry already had nine points, two steals, one rebound and one assist.
The Warriors are only the fourth defending champion to start a season with 10 consecutive victories. The 1960-61 Warriors opened 9-0.
Through eight games this year, Steph Curry is averaging 31.9 points per game, the highest average in the National Basketball Association, and is on pace to make around 400 3-pointers this year, shattering his previous record of 286 three’s made.

Derrick Favors led Utah with 25 points and 12 rebounds.
Mitchell said he wasn’t foolish enough to think the Wolves were a playoff-caliber team right now, even though they had beaten quality opponents and despite the talent of budding stars such as Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns.
