4th Impact advances to The X Factor UK Top 5
The all-Filipino girl group 4th Impact brought sassiness to this week’s Performance Show on “The X Factor United Kingdom”.
Eliminated this week were Mason Noise and Anton Stephans.
Joining 4th Impact in the Top 5 of Season 12 are Lauren Murray, Louisa Johnson, Ché Chesterman, and Reggie ‘n Bollie. “I believe that this is the ideal time for us”, said Irene. “I think because they are so professional and tight, it is really easy to overlook the fact they’ve come from halfway around the world, from the Philippines”, Fernandez-Versini noted.
“That’s fine, but I didn’t say you were fake – I said I wasn’t feeling it. There’s no need to be aggressive”, Nick replied, with a disgruntled voice. Having received the fewest votes from the public, they each had one last chance to sing for survival – while Che took on If I Ain’t Got You by Alicia Keys, Anton went for Bonnie Raitt’s I Can’t Make You Love Me. I really like you, but to go to the next level, we have to know who you are.
Despite the quibble from Cowell, 4th Impact can really count on its strong global fanbase to hang around, possibly until the very end.
Lauren Murray has created controversy on “The X Factor” when she pushed away a member of 4th Impact who was about to hug her. Lauren was caught on camera during the live elimination episode.
During Sunday night’s results show (22 November), viewers watched as Lauren appeared to brush off one of the sisters as the acts gathered at the side of the stage to watch the sing-off.
