This is where Mass Effect: Andromeda is heading, claims leak
What are you most excited about “Mass Effect Andromeda”? Mako customization has been hinted at but not confirmed.
A bigger leak (originally from YouTube) from an anonymous source claims to have found a few intel on details about Mass Effect: Andromeda announced for PC, PS4 an Xbox One.
There’s no screenshots or other corroborating evidence to go along with the leak, but after it was posted on Reddit the user was then verified by the forum’s mods – resulting in this video (spoiler warning, as discussed below). Andromeda will also feature destructible scenery, and offer greater detail in character facial features and models.
The new ship featured in Mass Effect 4 will be much larger than the Normandy and will be a flyable unit for space travel.
Ground combat and exploration will feature your player character and two squad-mates, as in the previous games. This makes senses as the new game will be focusing on finding humanity a new home. They, along with the rest, will have jetpacks as they explore the game’s universe. The game will also focus more heavily on exploration, with the main character referred to as “the pathfinder” and the addition of a pathfinder quarters section on the (totally different) ship. The leak states there will be a meeting room inside the ship in which players can interact with their crew and that you’ll be able to visit the Mako inside the ship’s hangar. The enemies are said to be bipeds that look like a cross between the Collectors and the Vorcha. The source is said to be one of the inside variety, so should have access to this sort of material, but we’re bundling every news piece on this with a side order of salt as it really is rumors of rumors at this point.
New details regarding Mass Effect: Andromeda appeared over the weekend, purporting to reveal a bunch of gameplay info from the upcoming BioWare RPG.
As for the enemies, they may not be humans and may battle from Cerberus ships. Even he thinks this is a placeholder, but he can’t be sure.
Furthermore, according to the leak, the Omnitool will also have situational functionality according to the scenario you find yourself in. One of the lead antagonists in Mass Effect Andromeda is going to be a Human Soldier having similar Armor than the lead protagonist but without N7 insignia.
