Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello marry in gorgeous wedding ceremony

What made the wedding more interesting is the way Vergara and Manganiello exchanged vows. The couple were engaged last December after dating for six months.

The couple’s family and friends – including several of Vergara’s “Modern Family” co-stars and Vergara’s “Hot Pursuit” co-star Reese Witherspoon – were in attendance.

Joe – who’s best known for his role in Magic Mike – wore a black John Varvatos tuxedo.

In a video post from Instagram user valemicchetti, Manganiello serenades Vergara with Guns n’ Roses’ “Sweet Child O’ Mine”.

This is the first marriage for Joe and the second for the actress, who was previously hitched to her high school sweetheart, Joe Gonzalez from 1991 to 1993.

“I love that because it says to me, ‘We’re not going to spend a lot of time on the traditional, we’re just going to get to the fun, ‘ ” Bowen said.

The day is set to be a big celebration with many of Sofia’s Modern Family co-stars flying in to watch her walk down the aisle.

Apparently the couple asked guests to give a donate to a selection of children’s hospitals instead of buying them wedding gifts.

Sofia also shared a couple of photos from inside the ceremony, which looks like something straight out of a fairytale. I’m 43, I don’t really need to look like a virgin getting married. “My family started having seizures and heart attacks, complaints and emails with bad words”, Vergara told Good Morning America of her original plans to elope with Joe.
