Rihanna Announces “Anti” Album Release Date
That’s right. Without an album release date in sight, Rihanna has announced she’ll be heading out on tour with Travis Scott (North America) and The Weeknd and Big Sean (Europe).
Pop star Rihanna has announced a massive world tour beginning in February 2016 in California and ending the following August in Vienna, Austria and Zurich, Switzerland.
Teen Vogue report that ads aired during last night’s AMA’s suggest that album will be coming exclusively through Tidal on Friday, before dropping everywhere else worldwide on 4 December.
The Anti tour will travel to major cities like NY, Los Angeles, Washington, Montreal, Toronto, London, Paris and Milan, in support of her eighth album, also called Anti.
Certain objects in the room – like a moving rocking horse, a girl playing piano, or RiRi’s album cover – can unlock snippets of new instrumental music, which we’re hoping are snippets of new tracks! While the record still doesn’t have a release date, it was executive-produced by Kanye West, and features the previously released “Bitch Better Have My Money“, “FourFiveSeconds”, and “American Oxygen”. Those who have been here for this pairing will be able to witness their connection live onstage starting February 26 in San Diego.
