How Gigi Hadid achieved the flawless faux bob for the AMAs

We pride ourselves on being able to spot a wig a mile away, but Gigi Hadid’s slicked-back bob at last night’s American Music Awards looked legit from all angles.

Her hairstylist, Bryce Scarlett, revealed to POPSUGAR: “I was really inspired by the neckline of the dress!”

The slim star looked incredible in a gorgeous silver and black Gabriela Cadena dress which had sheer panelling across the arms and tummy as well as handsome silver embellishments. “There are tricks of the trade”, she said, mysteriously. According to Seventeen Magazine, “When E! host Giuliana Rancic asked her if she knew One Direction, she awkwardly shook Harry’s hand before greeting Niall Horan, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson all with big hugs”.

The typical faux bob has significant tucking on show and a little curl to it, yet we can definitely see the (seemingly chopped) ends of Gigi’s hair. She then asked them, “Have you met before?”
