Hawaii Thanksgiving, Black Friday store hours
The physical Walmart Black Friday 2015 extravaganza will still start at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving like previous years, but the same deals will become available online at 12:01 p.m. PDT.
Best Buy’s announcement of repeat Thanksgiving plans comes the day after Target made its holiday announcement – the bullseye will open at 6 p.m.
For consumers who are looking to buy a new computer this holiday season, Best Buy’s lowest advertised deal is a Dell Inspiron all-in-one PC.It has a Celeron processor, 4GB of RAM, 500GB hard drive and a 19.5-inch touchscreen for $329.99, reveals ZD Net.
A few of its deals will be available before; starting from November 25, one day prior to Thanksgiving.
This year’s Black Friday will fall on November 27.
The deals can be perused on Walmart’s official app – a neat way to force bargain hunters into a download – and start at 6PM on Thanksgiving day.
Every year, millions of Americans take advantage of Thanksgiving and Black Friday since these two offer them a lot of discounts on nearly everything they purchase ahead of the holiday season. For retailers, it is one of the most critical days of the year, accounting for a significant percentage of their sales.
“There are now hangers for clothing where people can push on the hangar if they like or dislike and then as other people come thru they see how many likes this outfit would have”, said Donahue. The store will be open during regular store hours but will close on Thanksgiving Day, The Verge reported.
The report continued that the store will reopen its doors on Black Friday. A website called Early Black Friday leaks ads weeks before they’re in newspapers.
“Digital stores are open 24/7, so I think that perhaps as retailers have developed more confidence in their online operations, they also have the confidence to not go overboard in their holiday operating hours at their physical locations”, said Carol Spieckerman, a strategist at Spieckerman Retail. Of course, there are still a number of stores that will open on Thanksgiving regardless, including Target, Best Buy, and Toys “R” Us. The retailer is putting more of its promotional efforts into online deals, and new ways of using cellphones and other mobile devices to find deals, make purchases, and create wish lists to share with family and friends.
