Bills return to Monday Night Football

The Bills are given the enormous task that other teams have not done so far this season, beat the Patriots. “We’re not conceding that, I can promise you”.

The Bills play the Kansas City Chiefs next week. They have the Monday Night Football game this NFL week, and they take on the Buffalo Bills, an AFC East rival. Now more than two months later the players on Dennis Thurman’s unit believe they’ve developed an on field rapport with one another and with the preferences of their defensive coordinator.

“Oh”, said Ryan, “he probably helps them out a little bit”. You know they are going to do the same thing regardless of who is in there.

“Each game’s different, there’s no question about it”, said Ryan. But obviously I never expected to give up 466 passing yards to Tom Brady or anybody, but that’s what happened. “But then I saw the replay, so I was wondering, like, ‘whoa, he was definitely not out of bounds; he was a good few yards (in bounds)’. We know we’re a better football team; we’ll find out how much better”.

SERIES HISTORY: 111th regular-season meeting. I still see Brady having a big game at home and giving the crowd everything they want. Amid reports Peyton Manning will not play, the Patriots visit Denver while Buffalo is at Kansas City on Sunday.

Taylor’s deal would hence be over after next season, and Ryan might be hinting to Bills brass not only how important the quarterback’s become to the offense but to the team’s success going forward.

“The Bills have yielded 100-yard rushers in all of their last four games”.

On defense, the Patriots are No. 2 in the league rushing yards allowed per game at 88 and No. 3 in sacks with 30. Shifty running back LeSean McCoy, powerful rookie Karlos Williams and dynamic quarterback Tyrod Taylor spearhead the ground game. Brady finished 20 of 39 for 277 yards and is 26-3 lifetime against Buffalo, including 2-0 this season.

It certainly did not disappoint as the two teams went head-to-head but the Patriots simply had too much weapons as they won 40-32 at Buffalo. It’s no secret that this game will be a huge challenge for the Bills that are looking to secure a wild card spot.

It’s still uncertain who will be playing for the Patriots; it could be Marcus Cannon, or perhaps Cameron Fleming.

The line judge on the right sideline blew his whistle as Brady attempted his pass, however, forcing head official Gene Steratore to announce the play was dead due to an inadvertent whistle.

Brady even took a dig at the Buffalo coach, lining up under center in the first quarter and shouting “Rex Ryan!”.

The Bills beat the Jets, 22-17, at MetLife Stadium in Week 10, improving to 5-4 for the third time in their last five seasons (also 2011 and 2014). The best way for them to do that would be to establish their rushing attack, specifically All-Pro running back McCoy (pictured above), early on.
