Microsoft Announces Deals for Black Friday!
Microsoft kicked off a digital Black Friday sale on November 20 for Xbox One and Xbox 360 games that will run through the end of the month.
The discounted games span across Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms, and will be available until Nov, 30. One factor that may affect which titles are going to be offered is whether or not the franchises are available on both platforms. Not to mention, the Xbox One is also celebrating a milestone birthday, as it was released across 13 markets for the first time on November 22, 2013, nearly exactly two years ago to this date.
There are a dozen deals for different flavors of the Xbox One console itself.
The recently introduced Xbox One Experience has been touted as a significant addition to the growing list of reasons why it’s never been a better time to be an Xbox One user. To get Dungeon Siege III loaded on your Xbox One, go to the Dungeon Siege III game page on Dungeon Siege 3 – Xbox One Game with Gold and queue it from there.
The cheapest Xbox One console for Black Friday will be $299. This also gives you access to Xbox Live Gold subscription, which you can grab for just a dollar for a month on a trail basis. Microsoft is trying to look at ways to improve Achievements overall and part of that includes looking at Challenges and how those can be improved on Xbox One.
Xbox has previously boasted that it seeks to dislodge competition by offering a bigger number and more gamer-focused titles than rival gaming platforms.
As for the details pertaining to the bundles being offered by Microsoft, they include an Xbox One Limited Edition console that is bundled with the exclusive “Halo 5: Guardians” game and priced at $449. For the Xbox Store game deals, deals are open to everyone from November 24 through November 30.
So far, the Xbox One bundle sales are only available in the US until Cyber Monday.
Sharing a few early memories of the Xbox 360 console, Marc Whitten – Microsoft’s former chief product officer of Xbox – said in a recent Twitter post: “So proud of the legacy of Xbox 360”. Let us know all about it in the comments section below.
